I used to love to read John Nolte on Breitbart, great whit. Then Covid comes along and he does a deep dive into covid which seems to be driven by mainly fear. The information for his work started coming from the NYT, the Atlantic etc - all places he had screamed “LIARS” for years until they fit his fearful narrative. Fear clearly crosses political lines and really has realigned people’s way of thinking, both opening some eyes and closing others.
This sermon by Fr. Nolan is making the rounds. He reads from Wikipedia on the history of unethical medical experimentation on the public by our government and how we were lied to then... as a way to help open eyes to what is happening now.
I agree that those in positions like hers should educate themselves fully before offering an opinion on medical matters or just stay quiet. Enough of us laymen pretend to be experts (although I don't claim that and just try to share what I've learned).
