Well, he wasn't. And his ego and refusal to even apologize -- even for simply being boorish, if he can't bring himself to admit he was wrong on point -- now leads him to act even worse in his desperation to prove himself right.

I agree completely! I am very disappointed in how Alex handled Malone and Ivermectin. Admitting he was wrong would go a LONG way with his readers and his credibility. Interestingly I read an apology email by Matt Taibi last night for getting the Ukraine invasion wrong. It was an impressive piece of journalism.
