Even Mark McDonald got gaslit. We’ve done the studies and published them in the Cochrane Reviews. Wearing masks during surgery does NOT reduce surgical site infection rates.

Masks do two things. They hide your identity and they keep large crap from flying into your mouth. This is why the outer layer of a legit mask has fluid resistance added. Before Covid, my assistants would wear masks when removing color ties from braces to block chunks of plaque from flying in their mouths. Masks are good at that. And that’s about it

So true! The studies all point to the uselessness of masking yet so many still buy into the lie. They have turned off all critical thinking skills!

They are called surgical masks for a reason. They are meant to prevent spit from getting into the cavity of a patient. They never were made to stop airborne viruses. It’s still unbelievable to me that the medical elite still believes that they work in this fashion.
