I’ve never heard a Mask Cultist explain why if masks work and cause no harm then why stop masking just because cases are low?
If masks worked, then masking when cases are low would eradicate the virus. Same reason why you need to keep taking the full course of antibiotics even after the visible infection is gone.
Of course, the reason is that they want to attribute natural ebbs and flows to their interventions. Same reason why masks got reinstated last summer only after places were already at peak
Oh yeah, the timing was actually amazing. I was just coming off a year and a half as a stakeholder at my board of dentistry infection control committee when Covid hit. They had been meeting for four years. Infection control rules were fresh on our mind and JUST updated. So up to date that the new rules hadn’t even taken effect when the governor just made up new ones.

The mask nonsense is exhausting. Ian Miller wrote a great book that takes you through all of the ebbs and flows of this virus. Masking does NOTHING!
