I learned from a dentist that I was flossing too deeply, cutting thru my gums, and she showed me that I am supposed to floss my teeth but not tear thru my gumline...
Yep...exercise, especially strenuous will require a larger volume of air so breathing through the mouth is indicated. Careful with the floss...it is true, done improperly can cause damage.
