Likely you have seen news coverage of the FDA’s initial request for 55 years to produce the 329,000 pages of Pfizer Trial documentation after a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) had been filed by a group of scientists and physicians. Bear in mind that these same Pfizer documents were thoroughly reviewed in 108 days by the FDA prior to them offering the nod of approval to Comirnaty. Shortly after this initial FOIA request, the FDA found a few more pages of documentation and asked for 75 years to now produce the over 400,000 pages. The FDA claimed it was understaffed and unable to properly redact and protect portions as to which privilege, exemption, or exclusion is asserted, at a pace faster than 500 pages per month.
Aaron Siri is the attorney representing the group of scientists and physicians making the FOIA. Today, Aaron was happily able to announce that federal judge rejected the FDA’s request and then asserted the FDA must produce the documentation at a pace of 55,000 pages per month. You can read Aaron’s explanation here.
Key highlights, beyond the 55,000 pages were some excellent quotes referenced by the judge:
“popular Government, without popular information, or the means of acquiring it, is but a Prologue to a Farce or a Tragedy” —James Madison
“nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.” —John F Kennedy Jr
“excessive administrative secrecy . . . feeds conspiracy theories and reduces the public’s confidence in the government.” —John McCain
I really enjoy your minis. Thank you. With this one might I suggest air quotes with “thoroughly reviewed in 108 days by the FDA prior to them offering the WINK AND A nod of approval to Comirnaty.”
