I am not sure what happened…this was sent out at 5am but apparently it was not received. Let’s try again:
One way to describe these past two years of living the COVID nonsense is to think of this time like a roller coaster. Lots of ups and downs, twists and turns that make it hard to anticipate what is next. Today I have a number of positive stories to help you go into the weekend with a little spring in your step.
First we have the amazing truckers of Canada who have pulled together to stand in solidarity against the mandates. Many of these truckers have taken the COVID shots but they respect the decision of their peers to make informed, personal health decisions. The convoy of 11,000 truckers extends some 93 miles and the Canadian citizens are coming out to celebrate them as protest Trudeau and his totalitarian politics.
Next we have Spotify canceling Neil Young. If you have not heard about this story, Neil Young wrote an Open Letter to Spotify telling them that they must choose between him and Joe Rogan. Mr. Young wanted Joe Rogan canceled for spreading COVID misinformation. This was a no brainer decision for Spotify to keep the most popular podcast available on their platform (for $$$) but in today’s clown 🤡 world, I would not have beens surprised if they actually had favored Mr. Young.
Then there is this little story from Real Clear Politics about Trump being favored over Biden, Pelosi, Harris, Schumer etc. I know, the field is not very competitive but in a world of nonsense, this must mean some people are waking up. Trump’s position on the vaccines really has dampened my trust in him but I would accept his mean tweets any day over the ineptitude that serves in the White House currently.
Up next, we have Sweden deciding against recommending the COVID shots for kids aged 5-12. This requires very little explanation…why we would EVER give an experimental drug, never been used in humans, with no animal trials and no long term safety data, created by companies 100% shielded from liability, to innocent children who have a 99.997% chance of surviving COVID??
Finally, there is this newsletter from Jeff Childers. It is chock full of positive news and his optimism is contagious.
The political trends might be even more profound than they look. Last week, Forbes published an article headlined, “Republicans Overtook Democrats In 2021 As Share Of Americans Identifying With GOP Shot Up, Poll Finds.” According to the poll, we began 2021 with 49% of US adults registered as democrats, compared to only 40% who said they were Republicans. In other words, Republicans were -9%, which has probably been true for decades. But by the fourth quarter of 2021, polling showed a stark reversal: 47% now identify as Republicans and only 42% said they were democrats: Republicans are now +5%. In one year.
It was painful, but they’ve finally admitted the truth: cloth masks don’t work. Sure, there are a lot of mentally-ill people who are still clinging to the masks, and loony pro-maskers who think everybody will happily switch to N95’s, but let’s face it: mask mandates have been fatally injured. They’re crawling around, bleeding out. It’s only a matter of time.
Incontestable data is steadily trickling out and undermining the narrative. Life insurance claim spikes, Department of Defense whistleblowers, breakthrough data, and independent inquiries into Covid’s origins are starting, all together, to paint an undeniable portrait of abject failure. It’s getting ugly for the injections, which just can’t seem to catch a break. There’s ZERO good news for the injections anywhere, not in any country, not in any form.
And lastly, my favorite point from this newsletter because it rings so very true for me:
A social re-alignment. Many people have now completed painful re-configurations of their family lives, their employment, and their closest friends. People have learned that their bosses, relatives, and even some of their closest friends do not share their values — fundamentally important values. It is possible that, for many people, their social lives will be much richer and more rewarding post-Covid, because the pandemic has shown folks who their real friends are.
What a nice uplifting post for today. Happy Friday Jessica 😊🇺🇸
