I don’t know any statistics about the number of people who have been awakened since 2020. I would wage a bet that it is a time period that has more citizens paying attention than ever before, but is it enough? Do we have enough parents and grandparents, pastors, educators and public servants to stand firm against the trash that is affecting the world around us? We can’t expect to save the world if we can’t even get it together to protect our own children, our own country. We must start at home, in the home to prevent the tragedies highlighted below. We need pastors calling out from the pulpit our responsibilities as citizens to do more than just vote. People are lost and confused, if the direction doesn’t come from faith leaders and brave citizens, then the majority will just sit back as everything around them is destroyed. Worrying themselves about how many likes they have on social media or being troubled by whether their kids will be popular at school.
We sit in the comfort of our homes, clothed, well fed and conveniently entertained because our Founding Fathers were willing to be constantly hungry, bitterly cold, endlessly tired as they battled enemy forces for the liberties we enjoy today. They lived during a time period of great faith leaders who were not afraid to preach to their flock about the threats they faced and the actions they needed to take. These pastors were able to inspire and support the brave men who would go to battle for faith and freedom. Brave men who were supported by women and children who sacrificed comfort and convenience to break away from the tyranny of British rule.
Do we have it in us today to stand against the evil that is pumping through the veins of our society? Whether it be the lies behind the COVID narrative, the tyrannical claws of the global beast of the World Economic Forum or the pervasive trash trying to destroy the minds of the ones we are called to protect….our children. The battles are real and overwhelming. This is a time for faith leadership to cultivate a harvest!
The Great Awakening
There was a time period in American history known as the Great Awakening.
The Great Awakening was a religious revival that impacted the English colonies in America during the 1730s and 1740s. The movement came at a time when the idea of secular rationalism was being emphasized, and passion for religion had grown stale. Christian leaders often traveled from town to town, preaching about the gospel, emphasizing salvation from sins and promoting enthusiasm for Christianity. The result was a renewed dedication toward religion. Many historians believe the Great Awakening had a lasting impact on various Christian denominations and American culture at large.
One of the pastors that came out of the Great Awakening was John Peter Gabriel Muhlenberg. Like many of the pastors at this time, he was preaching liberty and freedom from British rule to the members of his congregation. Inspiring men to sacrifice their comforts and safety to fight for freedom. Muhlenberg preached his most dramatic sermon on January 21, 1776. His text was from Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8:
“To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born and a time to die: a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill and a time to heal; a time to break down and a time to build up.” (verses 1-3)
Pastor Muhlenberg read verse 8 with great feeling:
“A time to love and a time to hate; a time of war and a time of peace. The Bible tells us there is a time for all things, and there is a time to preach and a time to pray; but for me the time to preach has passed away. And there is a time to fight and the time has now come.”
The accounts from this sermon say he threw off his clerical gown before the congregation, revealing a soldier’s uniform beneath. The church goers were moved by his actions and the spilled out onto the lawn. Muhlenberg’s nephew recounts:
“The sight of the pastor in uniform, standing at the door and calling for recruits, kindled the most unbounded enthusiasm and before night nearly three hundred men had joined his standard.” SOURCE
Present Day Battles
And then we come to our present day battles: from the gender crisis to the crimes of our healthcare industry. If stories like this don’t get preachers addressing our fallen society and parents outraged enough to protest and protect their children, I do not know what will. We clearly need another Great Awakening! We need brave pastors calling out the lies being fed into our current culture because their flocks are confused. Unfortunately, calling out this nonsense from the pulpit with today’s cancel culture is much like Muhlenberg throwing off his cloak and entering into the battle against the British. War is waged against those who speak out!
Then we have stories like this:
Zoophiles believe it’s acceptable to be sexually intimate with an animal, and want the LGTBQ+ rainbow movement to add a Z to its name.
Under the German animal protection law, it is illegal to engage in sexual activity with any animal, however organizers of the Zoophilia Pride March say they are planning to pressure the government to change the law by gaining the support of the mainstream majority.
Zoophiles are not confined to Germany. We have them in the United States too.
Toggle is from Pennsylvania, and he wanted to put on record that he was happy to be interviewed due to his dissatisfaction at how zoophiles are portrayed in the media. Speaking to RT, Toggle said he believes zoophiles cannot be excluded from the Pride movement, no matter what people say.
There are so many events and stories that continue to have my husband and I saying that we live in a clown 🤡 world. A fallen, desperate and sinful world for sure. But the most difficult awakening I have had, has been the absolute destruction of the healthcare and scientific communities. I held these intelligent and well studied individuals to a much higher level, revered them as leaders of truth and protectors of our health only to find out this could not be further from the truth. So many of my Substacks have focused on the harms suffered over the last two years because of silence and ignorance of this community. But it doesn’t start or stop with COVID, it was happening long before this virus hit our shores and it is continuing with stories like this:
The video, featuring Dr. Frances Grimstad, an obstetrician-gynecologist, went viral after being posted by the popular Libs of TikTok Twitter account.
The Center for Gender Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital offers gender affirmation surgery services to eligible adolescents and young adults who are ready to take this step in their journey,” BCH’s website reads.
According to a report from the National Desk, the hysterectomy procedures are done through BCH’s gynecology department, which specializes “in gynecologic care for newborns to young adults.”
“According to the eligibility requirements for BCH’s “Gender Surgery Program,” minors as young as 15 can receive breast augmentation and double mastectomies with parental consent, but phalloplasty and metoidioplasty surgeries require patients to be 18, while 17-year-olds can access vaginoplasties,” the report adds.
But it is not just happening at Boston Children’s Hospital..
Right in my backyard, Duke Hospital is expressing fascination with the increase in the demand for gender affirming medicine in both adult and adolescent patients.
Duke is the only medical school in the southern states with a child and adolescent gender clinic, an adult gender clinic, a sexual and gender minorities primary care clinic, a top public policy school and global health institute,” said a February 2020 Duke Health statement announcing the opening of the Duke Sexual and Gender Minority Health Program.
The statement said that “The vision for the Duke Sexual and Gender Minority Health Program (DSHP) is to transform research and healthcare for millions of sexual and gender minority individuals—that is, members of the LGBTQIA+ community—and to become the leader in research, patient care, education and policy for sexual and gender minority health in the southern U.S. and the Global South.
While some states in the US (Alabama, Arizona, Texas and Arkansas) and nations across Europe are turning against gender affirming medicine and surgeries for children and adolescents, places like Duke are doubling down and becoming a destination for those seeking gender affirming care. They have already treated over 1000 patients and advertise a six month waiting list for patients in their Gender Health and Wellness Clinic.
Standing Firm
I know many Christians who are challenged by this topic, who want to ‘act out of love’ and affirm the the gender dysphoria their family member espouses. It’s a lot easier to just go along to get along than to face the challenging conversation and treatment of a family member who is suffering. I have had conversations with such Christians and liken this mental health state to one similar to someone using drugs or alcohol to deal with depression and anxiety. Would you welcome your alcoholic family member into your home and pour their glass of Bourbon? Would you stick the needle into the arm of your drug addicted child? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Prior to the last decade or so, this behavior was seen as a mental illness and patients were treated with mental health therapy. But there has been a shift in medical care from trying to help these individuals who are suffering this neurosis to affirming their identity through hormones and surgery. Think of the money that can be made, a triple digit surgery to mutilate the genitalia and a lifetime of pharmaceuticals to maintain the altering of one’s God given gender. And just like with the COVID crisis where doctors were not allowed to offer early treatments, it is becoming a crime in medicine to treat gender dysphoria as a mental health condition.
What is it going to take to turn this destructive and insecure behavior around and protect children from the vial push to affirm their neurosis? I believe it will be brave pastors, physicians, therapists and parents pushing against the woke ideology that an individual’s gender is a social construct meant to be challenged and changed. Just like with COVID, we are going to need brave leaders to address this issue and likely an underground community will develop where these children can receive compassionate mental health therapy. Churches and Christian therapists will be attacked like in this story below but this is the way we are going to help a very confused generation find the help they need.
Bryan McKeen is the pastor of Grace Community Church of Valrico, FL, the church that runs Grace Christian School, recently featured in an NBC news article. This school has come to national awareness for its stance regarding Biblical sexuality and the attention has not been positive. Since the NBC story was published, the school has been fielding thousands of phone calls with people threatening to burn his house down and kill his family.
And just what did Mr. McKeen and Grace Christian School say that wielded this attention? From an email a June 6th email:
We believe that God created mankind in His image: male (man) and female (woman), sexually different but with equal dignity,” read the email, and continued:
Therefore, one’s biological sex must be affirmed, and no attempts should be made to physically change, alter, or disagree with one’s biological gender—including, but not limited to, elective sex reassignment, transvestite, transgender, or non-binary gender fluid acts of conduct (Genesis 1:26-28). Students in school will be referred to by the gender on their birth certificate and be referenced in name in the same fashion.
But McKeen did know one thing. “I don’t answer to NBC,” he explained. “I answer to God. And so, if a lot of people are mad at me, I’m sorry. I don’t like that they’re mad at me. But at the end of the day, I answer to God.”
McKeen said “many things in the article” were true. Grace Christian School does have “a policy that does not allow students to [identify as] homosexuals or transgender.” But that’s because “they’re students. They’re young people. They shouldn’t be sexual at all. God condemns any sexual activity outside of marriage, and that’s also in the policy.” The policy didn’t single out LGBT identities; it also applied to heterosexual immorality.
There is much complexity to the recent wave of gender dysphoric youth. Many factors contribute to the anxiety, confusion and lack of self worth that a child may feel in order to strip his/her old identity for a new one. Instead of hearing how beautifully and wonderfully they were created from parents and pastors; social media, educators and healthcare providers affirm their disoriented state of mind. Perhaps if we had more bold pastors preaching this on Sunday morning, there would be more people of faith willing to be courageous enough to seek the appropriate help for these sweet souls. More parents understanding that ‘out of love’ to help these youngsters, we will have uncomfortable challenges to help extract our youth from the hell drowning their minds. More sermons like this one are needed:
Regret
Sadly, if we don’t have some form of Great Awakening, there will be more stories like this one featured in Epoch Times last week. Confused parents, a disoriented child and a ready and willing medical community that fast tracked a teenager into bodily mutilation only later to be faced with regret and sadness.
Her “brutal” transition from female to male was anything but the romanticized “gender journey” that transgender activists and medical professionals had portrayed, she told The Epoch Times.
“It’s a little creepy to call it that,” she said.
Cole, who is now 18, feels more like she’s just awoken from “a nightmare,” and she’s disappointed with the medical and school system that fast-tracked her to gender transition surgery.
“I was convinced that it would make me happy, that it would make me whole as a person,” she said.
Although she feels “let down” by most of the adults in her life, she doesn’t blame her parents for following the advice of school staff and medical professionals, who “affirmed” her desire for social transitioning, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgery.
“They effectively guilted my parents into allowing them to do this. They gave them the whole, ‘Either, you’ll have a dead daughter or a live son,’ thing. They cited suicide rates,” she said. “There is just so much complacency on the part of educators—all the adults basically. I’m really upset over it. I feel a little bit angry. I wasn’t really allowed to just grow.”
Her parents, though skeptical, trusted the medical professionals and eventually consented to their daughter’s desire for medical interventions, including surgery, which was covered by their health insurance policy.
“I think that is really dangerous for families across the U.S. It can tear families apart,” said Cole, who is expected to testify against the bill again this week.
Cole has been harassed on social media and received a couple of death threats from trans activists since she announced her detransition and took a stand against “gender-affirming” policies.
“Now that I’m completely disillusioned from all of it, it’s really shocking that we’ve even gotten to this point,” she said.

I was 15. You can’t exactly expect an adolescent to be making adult decisions,” she said. “So, because of a decision I made when I was kid, I can’t breastfeed my children in the future. It’s just a little concerning that this is being recommended to kids at the age I was, and now even younger. They’re starting to operate on preteens now.
It’s easy for most to sit back and say ‘well, this isn’t happening in my family’ or ‘this would never happen in our school’ but the reality is that this is everywhere. It is a trend in our youth that is growing exponentially and unlike a body piercing or tattoo, this form of teenage resistance sadly has long term mental and physical health implications. We owe it to our children to protect them from this type of harm!
